Experience the fun and whimsy of this block from McKenna Ryan's Sea Breeze collection! In this two day course, Dawn Hunter will guide you through the applique piecing of this seascape with some quilting, light thread painting, as well as embellishing to make your wall art unique!  When embellishing, Dawn will show you how to attach bead with your machine. If this technique catches your eye, supplies to successfully do it yourself will be available for purchase in Studio Bernina. 

At the end of the class, your block with be mounted on a 12" x 12" canvas and outfitted with screw eyes and hanging wire. When you leave, you will have a fully completed project that can be hung in your home immediately!

The kit for this class is $40. This will include fabric for the background, sandy sea bottom, and dolphin, mounting materials, and embellishments including beads, jewels, pearls and seashells.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO CLASS:
Your Sewing Machine
A Free Motion Foot (#9, #15, #24, and/or #29/29C)
Needles to quilt with (size 80/90)
Hand Sewing Needles (thin enough to go though beads!)
Fabric from your scrap collection to use in creating the bubbles, clam, coral, starfish, and sea anenomes
Threads to match fabrics you will be using, including blue, grey, and a sandy brown
