Whether you're renewing your love of quilting, or making a quilt for the first time, Terry Birdsell will guide you to success. In this class, you'll learn to work with 5 different quilt block patterns, and learn all the skills you need to bring them to life in this sampler quilt! You'll go step-by-step through how to choose fabrics (color theory) along with factoring scale into your design. Customize your layout and quilt design, learn to cut and piece precisely with tools that are a must. Learn professional pressing for crisp results; experience adding sashing and borders.
You will exit this class with a finished quilt top if you do the homework!
During your first day, you will go shopping for your fabric at Studio Bernina! This is an additional purchase, not included with your class fee, as there is no way to know what fabrics you will choose! Batting and the pattern will be purchased as a kit when you sign up for the class.
