Featherweight Maintenance Class



Learn how to clean and oil your Featherweight!

This hands-on class will teach you everything you need to know to keep your Featherweight healthy including:

  • The best tools to get lint and fuzz out

  • Signs of age and wear to look for (preventative care)

  • How and when to remove old lubricant

  • Where and when to oil / grease

  • Troubleshooting sewing issues

  • When to bring her in for repair or motor service 


Please note that this class will NOT teach you how to repair your machine.  If your machine is currently not working please contact Lisa BEFORE the day of the class to assess if it needs a repair before the class. 

NO REPAIRS WILL BE DONE DURING CLASS.

  • Foot Pedal
  • Cord
  • Bobbin Case
  • Bobbin
  • Presser Foot
  • Thread
  • A Small, Flat Screwdriver
  • Paper and a Writing Utensil to Take Notes
