Half Square Triangles for Beginners
Join us for this great introductory class about one of the simplest, yet most versatile, quilting blocks - the half square triangle! Using precuts in 5" squares, we will create dynamic samples to show off how a neutral and your favorite fabric collection come together to create movement, repetition, and angles. With your samples, you can keep them as reference matierials, or put them together to create your own sampler quilt! No 5" square charm packs in your stash? No Problem! We have both neautral and colorful collections of charm packs available for purchase at Studio BERNINA.
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO CLASS:
- Your machine in good working order
- Basic sewing supplies - i.e. thread, scissors, rotary cutter, ruler, pins, marking tools, etc.
- 1/4" foot such as the #37/#57/#97
- One neautral 5" square charm pack (available for purchase at Studio BERNINA)
- One colorful collection 5" square charm pack (available for purchase at Studio BERNINA)
- Add-A-Quarter Ruler (optional)
