Upside Down Quilting
Quilty Cloth (TM) is a true game changer for the modern quilter! Designed as an alternative to the "quilt as you go" technique, this backing is great as a lightweight alternative that is backing and batting all in one. Let's work on this with our beautiful Dreamscapes Panel from Moda Fabrics and designer Ira Kennedy. Use it as a lap quilt or a wall hanging, and watch your quilting come to life.
The class fee does NOT include materials. There is an additional $55 Kit Fee that includes the Dreamscapes Panel and 1 yard of the Quilty Cloth (TM) of your choice.
PLEASE BRING TO CLASS:
- Your Sewing Machine in Good Working Order
- Basic Sewing Supplies (Needles, Thread, Scissors, etc.)
- Quilt Pins, 505 Glue Stick, or Spray Basting (Spray Basting MUST be Done Outside)
- Drop Foot Such as #24, #26, or #29
- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED: BERNINA Stitch Regulator
If you do not have or do not wish to bring your sewing machine, you may borrow one for a $10 fee from Studio BERNINA.
