This block has been around for years, it can be as scrappy or organized as you like. Use new fabrics purchased for the class (20% discount), or use your stash!

This class is broken up into two sessions, two weeks apart in order for you to complete your homework. The second session is an all day class with a half hour break for lunch, so please plan accordingly! During the first class, we will go over how to build the 9 patch, and then how to make it disappear! You will work on your blocks together during this day. When you go home, your homework will be to complete all your patches and borders. Two weeks later, we will come back together to finish your quilts. You will end up with a nice size lap quilt, depending on how many borders you want to add!

Fabric Needed:

• 12- ¼ yard cuts of assorted prints  (44" wide, no stripes please!)
• Border 1-  1/3 yard
• Border 2- 1 yard
• Binding – ½  yard
• Batting-  To Be Determined
• Backing- 1 ½ yard

• Your Machine in Good Working Order (If you cannot or do not wish to bring your sewing machine, one can be rented for a small fee.)
• Normal Sewing Supplies (marking tools, pins, thread, scissors, etc.)
• Rotary Cutter
• Ruler at least 10 in long
• Binding tool (optional)
• Foot #37, #37D, #57, #57D, #97, or #97D
